You just walk a short distance thru security to meet them. Its not just one or two turtles, there were so many we saw. This was a very fun excursion! At the beach, there is a snack bar, washroom and a fresh water tap to rinse off before going back. The variety of experiences and personal attention from Juriena were great! Patrick is in the water the whole time taking photos which he shares with everyone on the ride back. Probably a good thing, because we only got to see/visit one of the "blow holes" there, which was still incredible to see. There are 7, hence the name's meaning which is 7 mouths. We enjoyed learning about the history and culture of the island, saw beautiful scenery, tasted delicious Curacao liquor, and had an opportunity to swim with large loggerhead turtles. Patrick was making underwater fotos which he gave to us afterwards.The fishermen feed the turtles with part of their catch, and so you will be surrounded by turtles. The tour guide does have a go pro and will snap pictures of you and the turtles in the water. Not too crowded but there was no photographer on hand for your personal pixs though he did catch up with us later in the day, and sent me pixs via What'sApp but you could tell they were not of the day you were actually there. Sevi was very accommodating and approachable and offered a place for myself and my wife at very short notice. We were on an 11 day cruise of the Southern Caribbean and this was by far our favorite tour. But do bring your own to capture your own underwater experience.It was an overall great excursion and would definitely do it again.
